Twenty Five Views of a Japanese Samurai Doll

At several posts below are imported ones from my Blogger account.  In 2008 I began a body of work called “Twenty Five Views of a Japanese Samurai Doll.”  The drawings are to depict in graphite the design without color to appreciate excellent Japanese design using on object to do it with.  Japanese clothing while worn has so much intricacy and detail to it that I decided to pull it all apart by drawing many views of the one.  Since I am continuing this work today I wanted to pull the drawings from that blog over to here so it is a coherent whole.
